The Dependent Pass (DP) in Singapore is a visa issued to the legally recognized family members (spouse and children) of an Employment Pass (EP), S Pass, or Personalized Employment Pass (PEP) holder. It allows dependents to live in Singapore while the main pass holder is working.

    • As of May 2021, DP holders cannot work in Singapore unless they apply for their own Work Pass (Employment Pass, S Pass, or Work Permit).
    • Alternatively, DP holders can start a business under an EntrePass, or act as a shareholder/director if they meet certain criteria.
